Nvidia pushed its next-gen AI rack system to 2028. Manufacturing snags. The company famous for releasing chips faster than Apple releases apology statements now admits it cannot build the thing it promised.

SemiAnalysis broke the news. Retail traders who bought the stock because a Reddit post said "GPUs go brrrr" are now holding shares in a company that delayed a product four years out. Not a product launching next month. Not next quarter. A product so far in the future your current laptop will be in a landfill before this rack ships.

The breakneck annual release cadence hit manufacturing limits. Turns out you cannot simply will semiconductors into existence by believing hard enough. Physics exists. Supply chains exist. The laws of thermodynamics remain unimpressed by your market cap.

Every tech company promises the moon. Nvidia promised the moon and apparently forgot to check if the rocket works. Now analysts will spend six months writing reports explaining why 2028 was always the realistic timeline. They will use words like "prudent" and "strategic recalibration." They will not use words like "we have no idea what we're doing."

Somewhere a day trader is googling "what is a manufacturing snag" and deciding this means he should buy more calls. He will tell himself this is a buying opportunity. He will explain to his wife that Nvidia is just being conservative. His wife will ask why he is talking to himself in the garage at 2 AM.

The stock will probably go up anyway because nothing means anything anymore.
