Iran Discovers Diplomacy Still Exists After Checking Notes

Iran announced it wants the world to push back against U.S. sanctions while simultaneously saying diplomacy isn't impossible. That's the geopolitical equivalent of your ex texting "we should talk" at 2 AM. Pick a lane.

The country also demands Israel withdraw from Lebanon, stop attacking Syria, and end the Gaza conflict. Three requests bundled into one press statement. That's not diplomacy. That's a hostage negotiator's opening bid after huffing paint thinner.

Retail traders heard "diplomacy isn't impossible" and immediately bought crude oil futures because they think tension in the Middle East is a personality trait you can chart on the 15-minute timeframe. These people use Fibonacci retracements to predict their own life expectancy.

Iran calling for global pushback against sanctions is like a guy at the casino asking other gamblers to split his losses. Nobody's coming. Everyone's got their own bad beat story. The roulette wheel doesn't care about your coalition-building efforts.

The technical setup here is flawless. Resistance at "international cooperation." Support at "absolutely f*cked." The 200-day moving average is "saying words into a microphone while nothing changes."

Somewhere a day trader just opened a position on defense contractors because he saw the word Lebanon in a headline. He doesn't know where Lebanon is. He thinks Syria is a voice assistant. His stop-loss is set at "my wife finds out."

Iran wants sanctions lifted and peace in three countries and diplomacy back on the table. That's not a foreign policy strategy. That's a vision board made by someone who just discovered manifestation TikTok.

The only thing getting pushed back here is your portfolio when you trade the news like it's a f*cking horoscope.
