Lamborghini unveiled the Revuelto SV. It has 1,050 horsepower. Costs $741,172. Hits 100 kph in 2.4 seconds.
The company added a hybrid system to a V12 engine because apparently 800 horsepower wasn't enough to wrap around a telephone pole. They engineered over a thousand horses into a vehicle that will spend most of its life idling outside nightclubs in Miami. The limited edition tag means roughly twelve people on earth can buy one without their accountant having a stroke.
Let's talk about who this car is for. Not you. Not the guy panic-selling covered calls at a loss. Not the genius who thought leveraged ETFs were a retirement strategy. This is for the person who looks at three-quarters of a million dollars and thinks yeah, that's reasonable for something that depreciates the second I sneeze on it.
The hybrid system exists so Lamborghini can meet emissions standards while pretending they care about the environment. Nothing says eco-conscious like a limited-edition hypercar that gets worse mileage than a city bus. But sure, it's got an electric motor. Problem solved. Greta's thrilled.
Two-point-four seconds to 100 kph. Know what else takes 2.4 seconds? The time between when a retail trader reads a Reddit post and when he liquidates his kid's college fund to buy GameStop at $300. At least the Lamborghini holds its value better.
The SV stands for Sport Veloce. Translates to "fast sport" for those of you who failed high school Italian and also failed to read a single earnings report before buying NVDA at the top. Lamborghini's been slapping SV on their fastest models since the Miura. It's branding. It works. Morons eat it up.
Limited edition means you can't have one even if you somehow stumble into money, because they're already sold out to oil sheikhs and crypto guys who got lucky once and think they're Warren Buffett with tattoos.
