Trump Builds Ballroom While You Check Your Portfolio

The President of the United States tore down the East Wing of the White House to build a ballroom. Not a situation room. Not a crisis center. A ballroom. He demolished part of the building where actual governing happens so guests can waltz.

The Supreme Court now has to decide if construction can continue. Nine justices will read briefs about whether a dance floor qualifies as essential infrastructure. This is what constitutional law looks like in 2026. Scalia is spinning in his grave and the rotational energy could power Delaware.

Somewhere a day trader is refreshing his brokerage app wondering why his calls on a leveraged ETF are down 40% while the leader of the free world is arguing about square footage for a f*cking cha-cha space. The market doesn't care about your technical analysis. It doesn't care about support levels. It certainly doesn't care that you thought a double bottom on the 15-minute chart meant anything.

The East Wing is gone. Just gone. Torn down like your stop-loss orders during a gap down. Trump wants his ballroom and he wants it now and the highest court in the land has to weigh in because apparently zoning laws apply to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

You studied candlestick patterns for six months. You learned what MACD stands for. You convinced yourself that volume analysis would give you an edge. The President demolished a wing of the White House for a party room and you're still trying to time the market with Fibonacci retracements.
