Bilt Simplifies Program by Adding a $1 Million Raffle

Bilt wants you to know it has simplified things.

Here is the simplification. ,Starting Jan. 1, 2027, using Bilt Cash on hotels drops from monthly to twice a year., That's the "eased restriction." The restriction got tighter.

Elsewhere, ,Bilt Cash will no longer expire at year's end. It now expires 12 months after you earn it., Fine. That's good. Give them that one. It's the only nice thing in this piece, so enjoy it.

Now the part where you do homework. ,New cardholders in 2027 and beyond only get the Housing rewards option, with no 4% Bilt Cash., Existing cardholders can keep it, but ,only by opting out before their card anniversary, and then they're locked in with no switching back., A simple program with a deadline, a trapdoor, and a permanent decision. Very streamlined.

The Palladium card also gets tidied. ,Its $200 in Bilt Cash and $400 in hotel credits become a single $600 in Bilt Cash., Same money. New name. Fewer places to spend it. That's what a consulting firm calls "synergy."

Then comes the confetti. ,Daily Rewards launches January 15, 2027, offering a chance at instant prizes, including $1 million toward a home., A rewards program for people who pay rent now has a lottery attached. Nothing says "we simplified" like a sweepstakes.

Retail traders will read this, build a spreadsheet, and call it "optimizing." They will track twice-yearly hotel windows like Navy SEALs tracking a hostage. Then they will book a two-night minimum at a Hampton Inn in Dayton and tell their friends they "won."

Opt out. Don't opt out. Either way, Bilt still has your rent, and you still have a landlord.
