Meta has a personal agent called Muse. It will fuel AI's growth. It will challenge Amazon and Apple. Analysts say this is only the beginning.
Only the beginning. Of what? They never say. That's the beauty of it.
Muse is a digital assistant that knows your life. Your calendar. Your groceries. Your shame. Mark Zuckerberg wants it to book your dinner, and Meta wants to be the one who knows where you ate.
Amazon has Alexa. Apple has Siri. Both have spent years teaching customers to say "never mind" in a defeated tone. Now Meta wants a turn at disappointing you at scale.
Analysts call this a threat to the incumbents. Analysts also call everything a threat to the incumbents. It's the only sentence they're allowed to write.
Here is how the retail trader processes this. He reads "only the beginning." He hears "guaranteed." He buys call options expiring Friday. He tells his wife it's research. His wife has stopped asking what research means.
Picture the pitch meeting. Someone stands up and says Meta should build a helper that follows you around and learns everything about you. Nobody in the room says, "Isn't that just Facebook?" Everyone claps.
I'm a technical analyst. I looked at the chart. It's a line. It goes up, then down, then up again. Then I looked at the headline. It's also a line. Same shape. Same level of insight.
Muse will not replace Siri. Muse will not replace Alexa. Muse will replace the part of your day where you were briefly alone with your thoughts.
Buy the stock if you must. Your personal agent will be the first to know, and the last to say anything.
