Consumer discretionary is "gaining momentum." Momentum is a chart term. Charts don't read headlines. I don't either.
The pitch is simple. Elections end. Money rotates. Three stocks rise. A man on television says so with a graph.
Start with Lennar. A homebuilder. You will buy a homebuilder because strangers voted. Lennar builds houses. You live in your car and a 2019 Civic's lease. You two are not the same.
SharkNinja makes blenders and vacuums. Two animals. Both lethal. Neither has ever harmed anyone as badly as you have harmed your own brokerage account.
Amazon is the safe one. Everyone says so. Everyone owns it. When everyone owns the safe one, I check the exit.
Rotation is the word they use. It sounds scientific. It means rich people are moving money around and you are the furniture they move it over.
Here is my technical read. Support exists. Resistance exists. A line goes up, a line goes down. The election did not draw either line. Neither did the analyst writing this headline.
Buy all three if you must. Put them in a drawer with your NFTs and your 2021 meme stock "conviction." At least the blender will still work.
Your thesis is that people will spend money they don't have on things they don't need, which is the one trade you have personally mastered.
