Okta provides identity and access management services which is a fancy way of saying they make sure Kevin from accounting can't log into the payroll system after he gets fired for stealing Post-its. Now Kevin might be an AI. Or Kevin might be a hacker using AI. Or Kevin might still be Kevin but your CISO is terrified enough to write a check either way.
The real winners here are the threat actors who scared every enterprise security team into blowing their budget on authentication software they'll configure wrong anyway.
