Senator Sells Up To $5 Million In Equipment Manufacturer, Discloses It Seven Months Later Because The Form Was Probably Under Something

Mike Rounds, Republican senator from South Dakota, sold somewhere between one million and five million dollars of Aeronics, Inc. stock on October 10th, 2025. We know this because he told us about it on May 6th, 2026. Two hundred and eight days later. The STOCK Act gives members of Congress 45 days to disclose. Just so you have the full picture.

Aeronics is an equipment manufacturer out of Austin, Texas. That's all we know. That's all we're legally required to know. The disclosed amount is a range — somewhere between a million dollars and five million dollars — because apparently the United States Senate runs on the same precision accounting system as a church raffle.

To be clear: a sitting U.S. senator sold up to five million dollars of a private equipment company and the disclosure mechanism designed to prevent insider trading functioned exactly as it always does, which is to say: eventually, loosely, and after the fact.

The chart, as always, did not wait for the filing. The chart never does. That's why you read it every week instead of refreshing the Senate financial disclosure portal and expecting to feel something other than tired.

We'll be here.
