Speaker Says Election Fears "Absurd." Markets Price In Nothing.

Speaker Mike Johnson called election-transfer concerns "absurd." Case closed. Nobody in Washington has ever said something was absurd and then done it anyway.

Democrats and voting rights groups say Donald Trump and congressional Republicans could challenge results if they lose. Johnson says relax. He is the Speaker of the House. Relaxing is his whole brand.

Read the denial like a technical analyst. A denial is a support level. Support levels hold until they don't. Then everyone says nobody saw it coming, including the guy who drew the line.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: The Office of Reassurance is pleased to announce that concerns have been addressed by the word "absurd." The word has been reviewed internally and found to be a word. Please direct further questions to the word.

Retail traders will, of course, trade this. Some guy in a Phoenix condo is already buying puts on democracy using a strategy he saw in a video titled "Constitutional Crisis Gap Fill." He has eleven followers. Ten are bots. One is his mother, and she muted him.

Here is my forecast. The chart does not care who certifies what. The chart cares about candles. Candles do not vote. Candles do not object to slates of electors. Candles just sit there looking like a dental X-ray of your retirement account.

Johnson says the concerns are absurd. Democrats say the concerns are reasonable. Both sides agree on one thing: you will refresh your brokerage app forty times that night anyway.

Sleep tight. Your portfolio was never going to peacefully transfer to you either.
