Retailers Collect Your Data To F*ck You Individually Now

AI pricing means McDonald's will charge you more for a Big Mac than the guy in front of you because an algorithm decided you're desperate enough to pay it. The future of commerce is here. It's personalized financial abuse.

Retailers spent decades charging everyone the same price like morons. Now they've figured out they can track what you buy, when you buy it, and how much you whined about it on Twitter. They feed that into a computer. The computer spits out a number. That number is how much extra you're worth squeezing.

This is being sold as streamlining operations. Streamlining operations means "we're going to make the cash register do math that makes you poorer." Every tech company on earth is racing to build the thing that charges your neighbor $4.89 for milk while you pay $6.12 because you bought organic once in 2023 and the machine remembers.

The experts are warning about the risks. The risks are that you'll get f*cked. That's not a risk. That's the entire point. They didn't build the data collection infrastructure to give you coupons. They built it to find your limit and camp there.

Grocery stores already know you need food. Now they'll know exactly how hungry you are and bill accordingly. Dynamic pricing used to be for airline tickets. Now it's for ham.

Some idiot retail trader is reading this and thinking he can trade McDonald's stock on Big Mac pricing volatility. He can't. The algorithm already priced in his stupidity and charged him extra for the app download.
